I have talked to a couple of people about going Rock Climbing. Would anyone be interested in doing a day at Great Falls or Carder Rock? I am a member of the Potomac Appalachin Trail Club's mountineering section and I teach begining rock climbers all the time. Got extra gear and we would do some reall easy climbs. Post up if your interested.

If we get more than 4 or 5 I will have some other climbing friends to help out. I am thinking of doing this 1st or 2nd Saturday in August.

Did you already do this? (I have GOT to start reading this site more often.) I'd be up for it. I used to dabble in rappelling and would LOVE to get into climbing. CarderRock's great.

If this hasn't happened yet, let's do it! And someone PM me please if it gets planned and I don't find my way back here again. LOL.

The plan was to do this last weekend or this, but due to Katie's funeral and the weather this weekend. Let's try next weekend. Looks like I will need to get some other rock hounds to help out with gear and belay's. As I can handle 4 on my own. I'll get it setup this week.

What say we do this Saturday at Great Falls? Depending on how many of you can do this I can get some other belayers (Remember that word!) to help me out. Post up ASAP and let me know if you can make it. I am thinking sometime around 10am or so.

No problem Ed you and I can go after work one evening. I might head down to Cader Rock tonight if you are up for that.

Hey Gang,
No responses to this Saturday, and it looks like the weather is not going to cooperate so I am going to push it back to either Sunday or the following weekend. Let me know if your still interested.
