33 Elkton area (pic intense) - July 3, 2007, 09:37 AM

Sunday evening Dan (Dubplaya) and I loaded our bikes in his truck and headed down to Elkton.

It was about a 2 hour drive and we took 66-55-340-33

There is some nice scenery on the way.

We drove up and down the Mountains for a while and then took Skyline for a bit.
Here is Dan at one of the overlooks on Skyline:

The sunset was gorgeous and we managed to snap a few crappy photos off. We really needed the tripod.

It was a lot of fun! We rode around 33 and skyline for about 2 hours. I am learning to get off the bike and am feeling much better in the corners. Dan managed to kill the knee pads we bought for the trip. Mine are still brand new. I have a few short video clips but left my camera at home. I will upload them later.

Nice Dodge
Why do you think I ordered the MotoGP jacket? lol

Meatspin: I've actually used something similar to those bar hanesses. They are much easier. I have to pick some up. Thanks for the link.

It changed colors so quickly, it was awesome.

If I can get my video to upload I will have a few clips of the fun corner.

Thanks Ben.

Yea, I definitely want to get back there soon! We got there at 7pm and had about 2 hours of light. Not to mention the receipt for Skyline is good for 7 days and we didn't ride for very long on it.

How long is 33 good for? (mileage wise)

Dan, with the new psycho fines dude DO NOT be dragging knee on skyline. Leather pants are a great idea and will certainly help you if you tuck the front, a sight more than jeans but the real anal rapage would be to get a reckless on 211 from the THREE BILLION cops out there. 33 is pretty long and goes all the way down through Harrisonburg I believe.

Let me know when you're going next time.

Dan, I'm up for Skyline tomorrow morning.

Ben we took it very slow on Skyline (30-40mph in 35MPH zone). There was lots of gravel and deer. We just cruised skyline for scenery. 33 was for riding
