8/4 Ride to Skyline via Rt.55 - August 4, 2007, 12:19 PM

Hay guys!

Not sure what happened but I lost you guys at Skyline?

One minute we were going up Skyline (211W), then we stopped at the top and went down back where we came from....So, (211E)...and then you guys were gone? I thought I saw you guys go back up....but, I wasn't sure?

I ended up going back down (211E) and then back up (211W) hoping I would find you guys....then I just continued on 211W till I hit 340N to 55E to 66E to back home.

Well, maybe its for the best? I was having a hard time keeping up.

You guys are awsome at the twisties and I'm still a noob...so, I'll need sometime to get my Skills on par.

But, Thanks for keeping a nice pace at the begining!

Also, big thanks to Novaghost for the guidance and words of wisdom....I tried to follow your suggestions and it did actually help alot...So THANKS! Really apprecuate it!

Maybe, sometime if you dont mind, we could both go for a ride and you can give me some pointers.

See ya fellas soon!

Hey man, nice to meet you on Saturday. Everyone thought you had gone home after we went up skyline and back down. Once we went back up, we went all the way down 211, and hit 81, and stopped and had lunch in Harrisburg, near JMU. After lunch, we ended up taking Rt. 33, to W. Va, all the way down to Seneca Rocks. Took 55 all the way back home. I clicked about 340 miles on my bike from the time we were in Haymarket, until I got home(around 7:30pm). It was a LONG day of riding (almost 11 hours), and my legs are still sore as hell!!

I was helping him out while he was riding with us, I went up and down 211 a few times, last I saw Tornado he was at the bottom of the mountain headed back twords Warrenton.

I remember you saying you were going to split off and head home at some point, when you rode by us at the bottom while we were turning around we thought you were headed home! Sorry about that, man.

As for the pointers, not a problem! Feel like riding just hit me up and I can help you out.

As for the rest fo the ride, it was great! Only little mishap was whatever the huge thing I hit in a turn was. But no harm done so it's all good. Great riding with those who came out!

Nope, last I checked I still had my pucks..

I saw a guy's puck get ripped off his suit at Jennings when I was down there in Jan. He hit the edge of the gatorback and it ripped the puck right off, that thing went FLYING!

Well you know the saying...Everything happens for a reason!

But, it was fun and I hope to meet up with you guys again!

Glad you guys all made it back safely!
