Breakfast Ride 4/13 - April 13, 2008, 11:28 AM

Woke up (too) early, headed over to our group meet spot at fair oaks mall, and headed out on our route to the breakfast. As well going well until I got to a sweeping left hander and just couldnt hold it. Stood it up, braked as much as i could before leaving the asphault.

My first wreck. Yep. Fortunately no one was hurt, and the damage could've been a lot worse that it is. Took a few minutes to get everything back in order, and continued on my our way for some hot breakfast!

Can i get a 'wahoo' for my first ever dcsbn group ride?!? (Also, thanks to dan, mike, will, and tanya for helping me get back up and running and to the meet spot.)

See everyone at TWT.....i'll be caging it.

as long as you learn you can avoid this happening again. Most important thing is no one was hurt.

PM sent.

I wondered how that ride went. It started sleeting, that or BB sized hail, in Front Royal this morning. Did you guys get caught up in that storm at all?

Figured out what went wrong yet? Could you have leaned a little further and just didn't?

I've leaned that extra bit when I didn't think I could a few times - made it everytime! Beats the alternative
