CNY - August 31, 2007, 09:20 AM

I had to go up to CNY to pick my kids up at their great grand parents so I decide to load the bike in the back to the truck.
Friday was nice. I headed west torward Watkins Glen.

From there I went south into PA. Found some decent country roads, but they kept turning to dirt.

Dunlop D616's worked as advertised on the dirty roads.

I came across signs the the Grand Canyon and I followed them.
The PA Petite Canyon had some nice scenery, but I was expecting rock ledges not a stream between to hills

Highest point is about 800 feet up.

After leaving the Canyon I headed back to NY on some more paved then not paved roads. Unfortunely my camera battery died after I left PA. After I passed thru Elmira on my way to a few twisty roads that I found on the GPS I came across a motorcyclist on the side of the road with a flat. I whip around to see if he needed the tire plugged. Not a chance. This kid wore a hole the size of a quarter in the rear tire of his EX250. There was no cell service where we were and his house was on my route.....yes I gave another man a ride. i found 221 rode the rode the twisties and raced home before the Storms.

Best damn storms I have seen in years!

Someday i will figure out how to make videos.

Sweet ride! My first track experience was at Watkins Glen.
It's hairy for bikes, but a beautiful track in the mountains.
I love how the waterfall on the mountain is in plain view from Main Street.

A former ISMA Camel lights, Jag. Le Mans team and INDY driver named Davy Jones was a firend of mine. I got to a couple of laps in his IMSA BMW.
