Dam good ride into Work today. - December 1, 2010, 09:33 AM

Dam good ride in the pouring rain. I put on rain tires over the weekend and boy did they pay off. Hell was even doing wheelies thru flooded roads. The wind was a bitch sometimes but not too bad. I loved the look on people faces when I was going by.

you had time to watch the expressions on their faces???

What do you value more? Life or Image?

I rode in today as well. It was drizzling and warm when I left my house in Hoodbridge, got down the street and it started to rain. Got to the mixing bowl and it got windy, cold and poured rain. Traffic sucked. By the time I got to DC I was cold and pretty wet. My firstgear riding suit kept my main body pretty dry tho.
I have a heater under my desk drying out my shoes, socks and gloves right now and probably all day.

My 1st Gear suit worked except in the crotch area. Because of the way I sit on the bike water went up my pants and then down. But my Sidi boots, Held gloves and Shoei helmet kept me warm and dry. Also I learned to tuck my gloves under my jacket sleeve to keep water out.

Do not dry your gloves like this. It will destroy your gloves very quickly. I'm speaking from experience. Now I just let my stuff air dry naturally...

Yea it was pretty cool this morning when it was really comin down, the only problem is my winter suit proved yet again that it is now only waterproof everywhere except in the crotch area. Had to spend the morning explaining to everyone at my meetings that I didn't pee my pants. I need a new suit
