Even with the heated gear the fingers got chilly! Hell the bike did not want to start. But at least there was less traffic from the schools being closed.

I saw you pull over at the corner of Ellicott & 48th. You looked quite cold. Love that bike!

I was going to ride today but got lazy when I started getting my gear together.

I even put the jumper cables in the truck just for the priller.

Yeah today feels like it is officially winter! When I went out to my car this morning my driver side lock was frozen and my windows frozen in the up position too...

When the sun is out, with not a cloud in the sky, and it still chills you to the bone it's winter.

meh.. Still not cold enough. 10 degree mornings at 4:30am plus wind chill. Then add the wind chill for 80mph. Did this one winter with just a fully vented summer mesh jacket, windbreaker, jeans, no heated gear. NEVER again. I was seriously Hyperthermic after riding to work for one hour, lips all blue. The pain goes away after the first 30 minutes of riding. lol

I rode almost all winter last year with no winter gear, it kinda sucked... This year not so much... I'll just ride twice as much when its above 45 outside.

with always worrying about ice patch or a frozen leaf in the road its not as fun anyways. Not to mention the 2 hours it takes to get feeling back in my hands lol.

What, you don't have a regular winter jacket?
A Sweatshirt
A fleece coat
Sweatpants
Multiple pairs of jeans
wool sox
winter gloves
turtle neck
a neck gator...

You suffer on behalf of your own stupidity...

Not being mean but c-mon, seriously...

Not being a fair weather rider doesn't mean you dress the same no matter what the weather is...

Now if you were forced to ride unprepared then you got a story! and you got mad props from me!

It was 15 at 8:30 this morning with the sun up, good chance that at 4:30 it was 10, if not close to it.

I bow down to those of you that rode- now that's dedication. I saw a guy on a cruiser on my way to the metro and did not envy him in the least bit. Walking was cold enough for me.

I was freezin drivin in my car for the first 10 mins...still gettin used to the auto temp in the 4runner and how it doesn't turn the fan on until it gets warm enough not to freeze your face with cold air. Couldn't even imagine riding into work.

hehehe uh you need money in order to buy a winter jacket, not a priority. Yes I had to ride in also. Meh I'm not stupid either. Just not not all there. There's a difference you know. LOL
