DUC999 vs Lamborghini Gallardo - June 16, 2008, 04:41 PM

On my way to the fathers day breakfast ride Sunday morning what do I see but my neighbor in his sexy yellow Gallardo just getting ready to turn down River Road. Having new Pirelli Diablos that were not scrubbed in yet I though for a second, "Maybe I should just keep riding to breakfast and not take a chance of overstepping my limitations and break these in slowly around the local roads." That thought lasted about a second and all I could think of was "I wish I had a helmet cam because no one is ever gonna believe this went down." My heart started to race as put the turn signal on and down shifted onto River Road, where he was now out of sight. Coming around the corner I seen him up the road and began to accelerate through the gears. Riding at the posted speed limit of course, I caught up to him and passed him. From there it was on. Nothing like looking in the rearview and seeing such a sexy bull come to life in pursuit of a matador with a red cloth...only this one was black. As I waited at the end of the the road for the Gallardo to catch up, I asked him and his daughter where they were off to next and that they could take the lead this time. Blue Ridge Mtn road of course they said and I fell in behind them for a experience I hope to repeat. Nothing like following such a beautiful car and seeing how elegantly it moves through the corners almost like a dance. Not sure if he was taking it easy on me or I was just in the zone, but he could not get me out of his mirrors. I told him I was meeting with some of my motorcycle friends at Pine Grove and I am sure they would like to see his car so he followed me to parking lot where I got some pix to post up. You can see my bike behind his car in the first picture along with son of a Leesburg cop on the right.

Lovely car. I bet it sounded tight too.

I have never been able to get anyone in an exotic car to play. That must have been cool.

Nice! Good to see someone actually driving the car as it should be driven.

Good story...sucks you didn't have a video camera that would have kicked ass.

true that most exotics dwell in garages and never see past 3 or 4k revolutions

We want a movie next time. Why don't I get lucky once in a while and bump into a worthy opponent?

Do you buy a condom to look at it? No you buy it to fuck.
