Talking The first real ride - April 23, 2007, 10:15 AM

This weekend was the first time I've actually just went out and rode. I bought my first bike two weeks ago and have been waiting that long for my helmet to come in(which still hasn't happened). A buddy of mine who no longer riders let me use his a lil after noon on sturday and between then and 5pm a rode. I then had to go to a wedding reception but left early (around 9pm) so that I could hop back on. I rode around Winchester until around midnight then came home slept for a solid 8 went to the gym and then around 1030am I grabbed the bike again and headed to WV then back down to Middletown and up to Stephens City to call it a day. All in all I put only around 200 miles on the SV and really I just wanted to voice my excitment for my new found addiction.

OVER? did you say "Over"? Nothing is over until we decide its over, was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell No!!!

Yeah its seems I've bitten pretty hard...But maybe thats normal, its odd how somthing as simple and fairly common makes you feel like a 12 year old with a new bicycle...I guess that feeling never really goes away
