Found some nice roads today. - May 25, 2014, 09:06 PM

211 west, through Luray, over to Edinburg, Ran west over the mountains on some random roads, got lost, found a little town called Zepp, and finally figured out where Star Tannery was. Still lost, somehow I ended up in Wardensville WV. Got gas and ran 55 back home. Had a beautiful ride for having absolutely no plan. I wish I could remember how I got wherever I got to today!

LOL, Nice. I live over by Star Tannery. I go through Zepp on my way to Edinburg to work when I'm in the mood to go the long way.

There's bold riders and old riders, but damn few bold old riders.

I followed the creek, came over the one mountain that was full of gravel. You live in an amazing area man! You obviously recognize that metal monster then huh? That thing through me off for a second! Ha

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.

State tar and chipped Zepp Rd (Rt 600) recently. That sounds like the road you came across the mountain on. Probably followed along Cedar creek afterwards. I enjoy running the smaller roads out here. Sometimes the exploring gets interesting... This was last week...

Note the tree down on the other side of the creek?

Yeah...

I ending up building a rock ramp to get enough clearance to get through.

Pretty sure you are right. I came down the mountain and took a right at the creek.

That is awesome! I dont think I wil be doing that on the HD, kinda shady on the gravel. Although I do like getting lost!
