Jee ride?!?! - June 15, 2008, 03:14 PM

Had me sayin "Gee, where did everybody go?"

Had a good time though, rearsets would be a good idea though as the 250 had me draggin toes more than knees no matter how I tried readjusting. Oh well.

Hope everyone made it home ok, those roads can be killer!

A.

Yea seems the group split up multiple times, I was right with you guys but as I dont know the area once I lost sight of you guys to negotiate the turns I had to drop back, overall a great ride.

Yeah...As soon as we got on I66... Rob was ahead, followed by CEaton, Mubeen, Black Red Kawasaki dude, then me and Raheel....turned back and saw a VA State Tropper chasing us, and that was it - "we" ran for our lifes life....turns out neither CEaton, Rob, or Mubeen had any idea what was going on behind us......they assumed its a 'Cannonball Run'.

It could have been a better ride if Shiptey could have waited for everyone for a lil bit. There were 9 bikers. 6 of us were from MD and we werent sure of the area or the routes, and ofcourse the routes are a killer. A little courtesy would have been helpful. In the end we had to take another route with the guy in the yellow suit.

NO MORE VA RIDES......the COPS/STATE TROPPERS know how to hide well and shoot the radar on us.

DISCLAIMER: I didn't see any cops when I got on to I66, when Malik blew past me doing 150mph without signaling that Po-Po's was behind, I figured he wanted to air it out a lil......so I followed.

Good riding with you man, and I like your signature, I've only been riding a year, but I have over 20,000 miles under my belt. Hell I did over 400 miles just today, why do you think I was rushing to Bmore at the end, had to make the next ride.

Well, if you didn't see the cop, it was not ur intent to evade the cop.

Thanks Ali for plotting a starting point for the ride.

Stone,
Thanks for watching the rear and watching the one guy (sorry I'm bad with names). I wasn't sure if you knew where we turned at, so I dropped back (Yeah, I'm a no rider left behind type). Thanks dude for not riding in over your head, staying in the comfort zone is always best down unfamiliar roads.

I hope you guys had fun down one of the regular loops that most folks take in Va (there were several hours of better roads if we started towards 211). There was a little more gravel laying around than normal, but it was negotiable. Hope the pace was good, I usually like giving chasing

Props to Ali for riding the hell out of that 250! But man, pulling off on people on your own ride.... That's just straight gansta.

Side note: I wish you had a bottle to give it some more juice in the passes though...haha!

I look forward to heading into MD in the future.

Oh yeah,
Between Will's rides and Ali I'm surprised I haven't fully converted to the dark side yet!
