Would rather slit my own throat than give up a rider.
They take away all our land to ride on and then wonder why we do this.
F, them!

Upperville

Horsey riders out there think their crap don't stink.

I used to cut my engine off and coast by them until one screamed at me for coasting too fast

tresspassing is a weak case in ffx...like a $50 fine.

but they might get more if it's proven they were destructing property

Poor kids.. That's so retarded. Don't they know they should have been out vandalizing and stealing things instead of doing something harmless and recreational..?

Okay so I can understand chasing them off but actually putting effort into hunting them down? Lame. Just do what people did to me.. throw down nails.

On my friends land we use to ride on, every first ride out we would go extremely slow to look for lines across the path. They use to do it all the time even though it was his land.

Oh God, that thought always scared the crap out of me. I've only heard stories but man I hope people don't really do that crazy shit anymore. It's just sick. I've only come across nails and some low barbed wire... Well, and some pissed off dude with a shotgun, lol.

If they had not left their goggles at home, it would be even harder to ID them.

My buddy Shay Allen passed away in May of 2006 when he was riding out by Dulles Airport and he hit a low hanging steel braided wire on his quad, sent him flying off his quad and he died of internal injuries, I played Football with him for a couple years way back...

there are still some crazy ass people out there, be careful

.

Down in Blacksburg a particular back road was apparently also used by some horse riders, I saw a group and up-shifted to keep noise low and went by with tons of space going the 10 below the speed limit. One of the guys started yelling at me and gesturing (guess how) I slammed on my brakes flipped up my shield and threw up my arms in a WTF? fashion, one of the other horse riders started apologizing to me profusley, I just left.

if they were on a horse farm, people are crazy protective of their grass, ruts can break a horse's ankle or cause major tendon issues, either way, no way in hell they're gonna find these guys, who's gonna turn them in?

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't go where I'm not wanted anymore. Nobody has the right to set a trap with the intent of severe injury or death though. They should be in jail right now. RIP Shay
