Look for track day/race reports in the respective sections. I've put plenty in the racing section.

It is for an American Folklore Class, and what i am looking for is a collection of stories that Sportbike riders like to share. Stories that you may tell someone who doesn't ride or anytime you get back from a ride and call your buddy and say "You won't believe what just happened!"
I need to collect them on a digital recorder, so a meeting would be best, i can meet people thursday after 8 and on saturdays after 3. Most wednesdays i am free as well after 5. I know it is a somewhat random schedule, but school and work will do that.
So, let me know when you might be available, i can use psuedonyms for anyone who would like to remain anonymous. No story is off limits if you like telling a particular story, i am interested in hearing it. Thanks again guys for your time.

Unfortunately My Professor is requiring that i meet with people face to face. That way i can go back to analyze story telling style using verbal pauses, body language etc. I do read this section frequently. That was some of my inspiration to do this project.

I highly suggest you contact Marc (birdman). It doesn't get much more animated.

oh boy...storytime! I love a good story.

The best stories are the ones from uncontrolled environments IMO. I mean of course race/track days get exciting b/c you're pushing it much harder and closer to your limits, but in the end...you're still in a controlled environment and that is the sole reason you push it to your limits. The risks and danger are what really makes a gripping story...and all the risks are on the street. Come hear some of our stories (Carnage and I). They are all facts too...none of that 20% fact, 80% hype and fiction u usually get.

we got video's, we got stories, lots of stories, bikes riding on the backroads on 1 wheel, bikes riding on backroads without wheels because its gone airborne about 3ft off the ground.

I'll meet face to face if your a hot sexy lady, if not I would need to be put in a room, with all the lights turned off, a chair is needed, a voice changer and a black mask on, then we can talk.

The best stories are left untold. Wait, I forget it's 2007. Carry on.

I am not a cop. I have release forms and would recommend the use of pseudonyms to protect anyone who plans on telling me stories like that. I am not trying to have to go to court or have my work used against my informants. As i said before I am a student at GMU, specifically i am in a folklore class, not the police.
