Nova Scotia Ride, Memorial Day 2009 - May 31, 2009, 08:25 PM

Crossing the border. We are officially in Canada.

Live MMA in Saint John.

Nova Scotia.

We covered what is supposedly the most scenic Northern coast of Nova Scotia. There are some postcard perfect vistas in that area, but they are mostly tied together by boring roads through the woods. If you think that DC/NYC roads have pothole problems, check out Nova Scotia. Most of the smaller roads are completely torn up because of the harsh winters. Nova Scotia is relatively built up and the small towns have no flavor to them. Just a bunch of run down buildings and lots of powerlines. I'm glad I checked it out, but overall, I was not impressed with Nova Scotia. Mostly Hype. Skip it and check out Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland - I haven't been to either but I am pretty sure it has to be better.

Sweet. Been waiting for the pics and report. I use to go to Saint John at least twice a year then head up north west from there for survival training.

Yeah, Saint John looks like a nice city. I ended up getting a chain replaced there on my way back.
