Rainy ride today - May 6, 2009, 08:34 PM

Left home today at 6:50 it vhad rained early but had stop for the past 30minutes so I decided to take the bike cuz I needed to ride after working on a paper all day that I had to turn in by 8. I live in Woodbridge and was on my way to Mason when I turn to get on 123 it starts lightly sprinkling. I did care because I wore my waterproof jacket and gloves with some water resistant pants. Well after 5minutes it starts pouring, my glasses fogged up and I couldn't see, I had to pull over. After cleaning my glasses I continue on my way to school. The water resistant pants failed on me and I got soaked. I was worried my paper had gotten wet but it was fine when I turned it in. The way home was wet too but I still had a great ride even though it was raining. Theres no other feeling like the feeling you get when riding in the rain, its like getting injected with some extrra adrenaline. Anyone else ride in the rain today/tonight?

holy crap....I DID!!!

was on my way out to warrenton after finishing up my Computer Science final at Mason, the way out was just cloudy, when I pulled onto Nokesville (rt.28 ) and onto Vint Hill the heavens just let me have it!!!

I got soaked, good heavy rain, then it was just a consistent rain, on the way home again, going down 66, it started once again, turning onto 7100 it came down harder, it was definitely quite a change from the usual, it was "difficult" riding but felt great once I got a little more comfortable
