Ryder went down on parkway/clifton - June 23, 2009, 06:10 PM

I was riding home on the way to Spriingfield around 6:00 and saw the end of an accident on the parkway. At the Clifton Road Intersection with the red light camera. It looked like there were plenty of people stopping to help... it was an all yellow bike, couldn't tell if it was a ducatti or cbr, it was atleast 3 different parts. I think the ryder was lying down on the ground but I couldn't see with all the people around.

Who ever it was, hope you're all right. I have a close call everytime I get on the parkway.

Was that at Popes Head Rd? Yellow 748. Old (~85 year old) lady was being walked back to a squad car when I passed it a bit ago.

No rider when I got there, just 2 FFX County cars, the lady (she even had those huge black sunglasses) and a wrecker.

Hope everyone's ok - looked like tank was completely off.

Damn that is a nice up and over (off camber if I remember correctly) turn right before you shoot out to the parkway intersection.....but still it's quite a distance through the clearing to the light so I don't guess the rider lost it on that turn....I don't know?

What do you value more? Life or Image?

"I don't ride, I usually just sit around wearing a tshirt and my icon back protector and talk shit about anyone who does not have a liter bike. That's how you can pick me out of a crowd. I also wear a red tophat."

I have a feeling there was a collision in the intersection. If I had to guess, the car was slow through the intersection and crossed in front of/ in to the rider, or someone ran a light.

Oh - and there was a fair amount of dirt/rocks on a few stretches of the road last week. I have the pleasure or driving/riding it every day.
