Saturday Slide Ride - March 7, 2009, 05:56 PM

Cool. I misspelled the title again.

I forgot to charge the camera battery so I don't have many pics.

We started the day replacing the chain and sprokets on Jeff's 9fiddy SE. He went with a -1 up front. As if that is needed on a 1000cc dirt bike.

After finishing it up we heads out 622 to 55. 55 is NOT fit for motorcycles! Not only was there the typical winter debris, but nore tar and chip from Baker West.

42 was in good shape. Even more windmills have been erected. There was little traffic on 42 so we played a bit.

We rode back east on 50. The main mountain down hill was not too bad, but the little twisty section between the 220 splits had sand or some kind of fine slit on the road. I was sliding through most of the corners. From Romney we headed north on 28 to my secret road along the river and up over the mountain to 29 and back to 522.

Great day for a ride. Wednesday I rode out in 24 degrees today I saw 81 on the Summit Bank Sign in Morefield.

Yeah man. I sat on while it was on the side stand. There was a good 10" between my feet and the ground.

There is someone who owns a KTM just like that one that works in the same building as me. I see it in the parking garage over the summer, and by looking at the tires, they ride the hell out of that bike.

I don't suppose these might be one and the same?
