Austere minimalist version, IMO, but I was only half-joking. After all, you covered all the basics. Just enough to set the imagination into motion.

Revised Edition

We got a late start. The Sprint was experiencing technical difficulties. I forgot to reconnect a ground after replacing the battery. After getting it sorted, Kim and I headed south to 55. I thought about 33, but it was a little windy and we were short on time. 55 would be a nice relaxed ride since this was only Kim's second time out this year. Normally there are not many bikes on old 55, Sunday was different. There were KLR's, GS's, R1200's, GSXR's FZ's, FJR's, you name it it was out. Oh yeah, and one suicidal squirrel. Shortly after passing a group of bike on the shoulder they appreared in the mirror Kim let them play through while I played along in the up hill twisties then pulled aside to wait for her.

Arriving in Moorefield, we stopped at Sheetz for some petrol and a pee break. From there it was north on 220 at a very relaxed pass. Turn east on 50 to Romney and north on 28. In Springfield, WV we turn east on Springfield Grade Road. Its a nice little 2 lane that winds along the river then up over the mountain and down to Rt 29. Great road with nice views! Rt 29 was a great ending to the day with its fast sweepers.

We ended the day with a stop by Wal-Mart to pick up a new hose. All in all we had a great day. Racked up a measly 180 miles in 4 fours....best 4 hours of May so far. Atleast until we head to Deal's Gap on the 15th.

THE END!
