And to think we almost didn't go! It really was the perfect day. Perfect weather, perfect road conditions, just perfect all the way around. What a day.

And no, Vic...I didn't get a knee down (I was the only one), but I did leave plenty of black marks and some of my kickstand on 33!

Brian's was a BRAND NEW '08 600, only had 600 miles on it! One of the few times it will see street duty, it's his track bike for next year.

I thought there were some Maryland people going on this. What happened?

They all wussed out! They were afraid the roads were going to be shitty out there after the storm Saturday. I think they unded up doing "the usual" ride at noon.

Scott, Wes and I decided to head out and take a look...turned out to be an unbelievable ride.

I know...buy and brand new bike, take all the street goodies off and thrash it around the track!

Brian lost the back end mid-corner (possible gravel?), caught the bike on his knee and saved it. I was right behind him...what a bad-ass!

Boo, weak, lame! Reminds me of how schools around here close, even for just a snow forecast. Not actual snow, just rumors of snow.

I would have been with you guys if I could have ridden, gravel or not.

Yeah, you guys missed out for sure. I'm sure we'll be going again soon, we all want to go hit that newly discovered road again. We swore each other to secrecy so it doesn't become another 211 or 33. It's that good!

Put me down for the 14th, all freaking day, as early is you want to start until as late as you want to stay out. Been wanting to get back to WV ever since the Deals Gap trip.
