Thank you Mr Officer. - February 14, 2009, 05:30 PM

Rollin down 66 today around centerville, doing 88 mph in a 55 on my bike. Mr State Boy pulled up next to me, givin me the classic finger to the shoulder. Off to the shoulder I go. FAK!

He asked if I had ever been arrested, I said No. He asked me about my driving record, I told no lies. (Its clean) Minus one failure to obey a traffic sign last year. He called me out on that. "Let me guess it was a speed limit sign?" I said yes. Takes my Licence, goes to his car.

Not even a minute later, he honks his horn at me. Calls me to his car. Hands my licence back to me, tells me to slow it down, and speeds away.

Im on the LEFT shoulder of 66 by myself wondering what just happened and thanking whoever felt like it was my day for a break!

Mr Officer, Thank You.

Not all bad!

I got a 77 in a 55 on 66.. guy asked me where I was going.. JMU, and asked me if I had to be there by any certain time. Told him no but that I was trying to beat the weather as there were bad storms in the area.. let me go. Then we start chit chatting about how fast these things go and he asked me how fast I had ever gone and proceeded to tell me how surprised he was that I actually pulled over then told me that the statey cars only go up to 130.. lol.

Weird how cops like to chat it up... Virginia anyway. MSP in MoCo gave me the 80 in a 55 without so much as a "nice bike". Bastard.

Most of the time they let you go cause they also ride and know how easy it is to creep over the speed limits without even realizing it

Maybe that is the reasoning for those that give you a warning but they unfortunately represent approximately 0.01% of the cases.
