Twin Ride was knarley - June 24, 2007, 06:31 PM

Had fun with everyone. No incident other than one of the SV's....Apparently the clutch cable was adjusted improperly for some time and caused the clutch to burn up while at the mountain.

My pics are uploading now. One of the videos needs editing and will probably take a day or two.

Hell yeah, good ride - thanks for letting a parallel twin roll.

If it wasn't for Jamal's clutch giving out and that damn station wagon, it woulda been a perfect day. Hope everyone got back ok.

Apple - you messin with that girl in the nissan was hilarious...at least you got a wave outta her

hahahaha She was cute, but when our eyes met she put on a front and acted all pissed off. Then when I caught back up I gave her "the wave" and snatched a smile and wave in return. She wanted it.

Here's my pics!

Haymarket sheetz (before the start)

After the 2nd major stop (~30ish miles from the VA/WV border)

After hitting up the mountain on 33 and coming back. This is at the gas station at the intersection of 81. FINALLY got cell phone service!

Well, for the most part any sort of twin had the "special" invite, but all were welcome.

Thanks for hosting Matt! Awesome time, and I just checked out google maps from where we were today, nothin but "squigglies" (as the lovely kris calls them) on the map! I'll definitely hit you up when another Rt. 33 run comes into play!

Great ride Matt. It was good to meet people, and start putting some faces with names. 33 was awesome. Hope everyone made it home safe.

Had a great ride everyone. I didnt quite make 500 miles. Pulled in the garage at 486. Anyway, great day, great ride, great meeting new people who dont ride like retards. Well planned and executed ride Matt. We'll definitely have to hit up 33 again. The rolling thunder was neat. Hearing the I4's and going WTF is that buzzing was a cool sensation

See everyone at the spot on Thursday.

211 was nice!! Not a single cop all the way to 29!

That had to have made up for the couple hours of downtime you had.

No doubt. The funny thing is we finally made it up 33 (about 20 minutes before the group departed), had lunch, headed down 33...and still managed to catch up with the group.

yeah, sorry about that ..it's a natural reflex for me..LOL!

great ride.. Havent been to 33 in 3 years... LUNACHRIS is now proficient in squigly riding... She was leaning the bike over farther than some of the guys!

Practice. practice! Speed is inevitable; learn smooth first....

...sitting on ice now, surfing for Corbin seats... ouch.
