West Virginia State Police - Rocks - July 14, 2007, 11:08 PM

Got pulled over Saturday for passing on a "No Passing Zone" at maybe 90mph.

State Trooper was pretty cool and let me go with a warning.

WVSP Rocks

I'm a huge fan of WV. Glad to hear it went well for you. By "no passing zone" do you mean to say "across the double yellow" possibly?

I was riding in WVA and had a great experience. Not iwth the cops but the locals. Everywhere we stopped people came up and asked questions and everyone wanted a wheelie (didn't do one) but it was all in all a great time.

The cops seemed cool too when I got a thumbs up from a trooper while I rode past on 55(?)

ALL MY HEROES ARE RUSSIAN...GO CAPS!

Well you see, Norm, itís like thisÖA herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.-Cliff Claven

Yeah I live real close to WVA. That is the only place to ride. I usually go out 50 once you past Winchester the roads are great through WVA. Especially past Romney. Lots of passing zones, cambered corners, very little traffic.

Hey~ i had that experience of the poeple wanting a wheelie too, and i actually gave it to them. But it was a short one 'cause i came across a WVSP parked behind a building and he just gave me the glare.
