Wild hogs 4 When all else fails keep riding - October 27, 2008, 10:48 PM

I checked the weather and the weather man said rain saturday clear sunday monday yeah Right. Loaded up and waited for chris he was running a little late due to traffic and a downed treeon his road. he got to my house in fairfax at 10:30

We changed our plans based on the weather and decided to go east and explore the eastern shore a bit. So we took the parkway to ox road and saw bmiester in his truck. It was raining but not to bad.

We stopped in a MD visitor center to get free maps and the people thought we were nuts we got alot of that on this trip lol. We decided to head south abd check out point look out md We took route 5 at a good pace STILL RAINING!!! ARRRRR!!! weather man said it would quit at 4pm LIAR!!!

We stopped at the first place that allowed camping turned out to be a true test of will power. It started raining buckets right after we got our tents up and we managed to get a large tarp strung up that seemed to give us some cover. Then we realized we set everything up in a a mini river and had to move it. Wind picked up and started getting crazy. We got frustrated and took cover to try to wait it out.

To get us motivated I started a fire. Chris said "Your going to try to light that wet wood?'' But little did he know that I packed a sterno and created a fire with wet wood in the rain lol.

off to bed

I liked this camp ground alot it had heated bathrooms and showers. It was right on the water. The best part was that there was hardly any one else camping.

My chain is toast. I have another one on order. Its almost imposable to adjust. It was so loose, I did the best to tighten it up and adjust it. Times like these I with I had a shaft driven bike. PAIN IN THE ASS!!! I also repaced a tail light bulb.

Leaving the state park

I seemed like every road was a ridiculously long strait that begged you to go 130mph. of course that never happened.

it was funny some guy on a busa saw us and tried to catch up but we came to some high speed sweepers and it seemed like he was having problems lol. Maybe I should add another 100 pounds to my 600 just to make it fair. After that fun little blast we hit 13 south to the bay bridge.
