Wild hogs 5 accepting new recruits - May 18, 2009, 10:08 PM

This was a great trip!!!

I just got done fabing up a new top case, changing my plugs, air filter and oil with mtnhigh 2 nights before. loaded up and ready to go.

The difference was crazy my exhaust note changed my 2 brothers exhaust screams like an angry f1 race car. so I met up with kenny and nick at the Spot we all hade interesting set ups.

Kenny was flying his wild hogs underwear flag lol.

This chick cam up to us and started talking to Kenny I swear she was a spanish hooker she was dressed like one and was hanging out around the corner of starbucks starbucks. she was gross

So the weather was holding up well and we decided to go meet up with chris at his house. I wasnt sure if cam was going to show up so I waited till 515pm. BUT BOOOOO TO CAMDLUX no call no show Your fired. So we headed out route 7 and hit traffic.

We met up with chris and realized I lost a bolt on my givi rack and fixed that then took of down route 50 and some how made it to harpers ferry. It was getting late and we needed to find a camping spot and the only one I knew of was in brunswick. On the way there me and chris finally got to try out our Scalia rider blue tooth rider to rider head sets. OMG!!! these things rock its like talking to someone on the phone and the distance was great 2 thumbs up for cheap communication systems.

This campground i would not recommend for the following reasons.
  1. lots of mosquito bites
  2. located behind a switch yard trains coming and going all night.
  3. 1 million boy scouts arrived and woke up at the ass crack of dawn
  4. the road leading to the place was a long gravel road and had huge pot holes everywhere.
We set up camp and I made spaghetti with diced onions and Green peppers.

But it was still fun and we got drunk and stupid.

At this point it hadn't rained but I knew it would come soon. We got up and I cooked sausage omelets with coffee and OJ. We packed our stuff on our bikes and made our way north west.

We were going at a good pace for a bit and it started to rain I realized I should slow it down when the front started to break loose on a left hand sweaper. So We pulled over and put our rain suits on. Went 2 miles and the rain stopped. Took off the rain gear rode for an hour and it started to rain again. put the rain gear on and it stopped 3 miles down the road. This was when I realized that I am going to use my touring suit from now on for thes trips. Changing all the time is a pain.

So after riding in the rain we found a state park outside of Pittsburgh PA that was nice and we set up camp. nick and kenny went for a food run and I let nick take my bike due to the extra storage. I told them to wear rain gear but they were confident they would be back soon and wouldn't need it pwahahahhah they got so drenched. I started coming down like crazy when they left. Told ya! I always bring a huge tarp so we had shelter from the rain.

Woke up Sunday and made some french toast pop tarts eggs beacon coffee and OJ.

Well kenny was in such a hurry he forgot his wallet and all his money. We teased him and said we were going to make it rain and get lap dances at the local strip club lol.

We saw this abandoned place and couldnt resist the photo op. lol

Well we headed to Pittsburgh to visit one of my friends from high school I hadn't seen in a while. and got lost in some run down bad parts of town. Seems like every freaking road was under construction. Chris's GPS took us down a road called northern pike. This was an industrial area. It was sad to see all of that pollution. I saw a stream that was so polluted it looked like downey was being pored in it. Kind of pissed me off. Well it took forever but I stopped and said hello and we headed south tward West virginia. Ended up on a few familiar roads from another wild hogs trip.

We headed south and took some rural route that turned to gavel and ran into the red neck version of biker boys. About 30 mud covered rednecks on quads on the side of the road looking at us like what the hell.. We kept running into too fast to furious wanna bees. Montana is a strange place.

wait I thought this was West virginia???

We got there late and chris headed out to get some food. Thats another story lol. so I set up. Man it was cold so I made a fire.
