We both had full intentions of riding Widow Makers Friday Ride. It looked like no one was going and Widow checks the board after he leaves the house. We left from Woodstock over to Fort Valley. I was not in the groove! I couldn't turn the bike to save my ass. The storms spewed gravel all over turns.

By the time we made it over to 211 I starting to feel the groove and by the top hero blobs were bring shortened. We turned on 231 and followed that to Ashby rd which I was mistaking for Ethan Rd. Ashby was gravel that took us back to 231. 231 to 230 to 33 BOOOOOOARING. Left on to Dyke stop for gas for the DRZ. Continued on to Simmons Gap Road, Shifflet Rd and Brokenback Mtn. Rd.

this one was easy

Not so much

The END

So here were are at the Observatory.

Nice choice in tires. (Just goes to prove you ain't gotta run sport tires to drag pegs on da street)

Misc shots from a bit of exploring between rt 33 and rt3 in WV. There are tons of trails open to exploring.

Some shots from an undisclosed road....

Nice mellow dirt fireroad with lots of turns and switchbacks. Laster on I ran across three cattle gates to get to rt3. Been awhile since I saw cattle gates on public roads. This road would make a nice route for the adventerous SB rider. The surface is old and hard which made for great traction even with street tires.
