Bad day, had 2 guys go down, 1 fine, 1 in hospital. same turn. no life threatning injuries, looks like a badly broken leg for now. being flown out to hospital. off to get the bikes now.

it was a non posted ride, and the road conditions were a factor. i am not going to say names, where or anything else. if someone closer to the fallen wants to post more on the situation, then they will. it is not my place. watch out for tar and chip.

If this was a non-posted (private) ride and the Who. Why, When, & How are a big secret...why post anything in the first place?

It was nobody's business until you made it our business. You had to know people were going to be curious and/or concerened, so why post anything at all if it isn't to be talked about?

I'll post up...

Meatspin and JohnJohn went down on old 55 out in WV. They hit a big patch a gravel simultaneously. John is fine, but Wes was Medivac'd to Winchester Hospital. He has a compound fracture of his right femur. I just talked to his girl, he is still in surgery (has been for three hours). She told me he will probably be there for at least a couple of days.

Parts of old Rt55 gets really sketchy after it rains and can stay that way for several days since it doesn't get much traffic to work the gravel back off of the surface. Did this occur going up the mountain? I watched HKB3 get caught by a gravel wash going up the mountain on old rt55 earlier this year. It's certainly something for everyone to be mindful of out there.

Again, sorry to hear about the injury.
