Thumbs up 2006 or 2008 ZX-14???? - June 2, 2009, 09:58 PM

i'm having a hard time trying to figure out if my bike is 2006 or 2008 zx-14? here is the vin #JKBZXNA126A004034. It's a special edition. I thought that it might be 06 WITH 08 plastics but the problem is that I think it's actually 2008 because the swingarm is not the same as 06. the swingarm for 06 special edition is black but my swingarm is red... so i am suspecting that my bike might be REALLY 2008, NOT 06??? let me know.

You post some of the most interesting yet bizarre stuff on here, man. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Pretty sure that's an 08, Hamslice.

In most cases you look at the tenth digit.

So I guess I was fooled by the 08 plastics. The fork tube legs are black too, which was an 08 thing. Front calipers look 08 too. You may have a frankenbike there.

Na, you can see the extender blocks. Easiest way to extend the swing arms.
