Annual "Beat Your Fears" Seminar - July 16, 2013, 04:07 PM

I try to do this every year, but I've been so bloody busy I haven't had time to ride or poop!

http://annapolis.craigslist.org/mcy/3931846062.html

I did it last year at my furniture shop near BWI. We had a few folks who enjoyed it. Going to do it again. I'll travel to DMV or VA if someone else wants to host.

It's a few hours of venting issues and then exploring the different solutions; it's geared towards newish or returning riders that are struggling, either with specific things or general fear and loathing. It's relaxed, it's fun and everybody gets to learn.

A few experienced riders showed up too and gave input in a non judgmental forum.

Most of the things folks are struggling with aren't new; most of us have dealt with the same things.

Drop me a line and we'll put something together.

I'd be willing to go. Willing to host, too, if you want. We can BBQ

This is a very cool thing you're doing here, helping folks work through and learn how to keep unwarranted fears at bay.

We've all felt it at some point. That moment when unwarranted fear locks up our brain and prevents us from doing something super simple (like turn a bike, shoot through a safe gap to avoid a hazard, etc).

I hope it's a huge success!

So is this just like a Q&A session? Or are people bringing their bikes and getting instruction?

He really isn't.

I did this last year and what I learned advanced my riding exponentially. Best thing I've done since taking the MSF.

This is what ever people need it to be.
Talk, demo, explain, adjust, evaluate.

It is geared towards the newish rider, who may be having isues of a specific or general nature.

This is not track riding, we cover rain riding , how to handle tense traffic situations,
Parking lot and slow speedkeeping techniques , fitting the bike to you , some general house keeping and service stuff and some riding techniques to keep you relaxed and out of trouble

I'm not that new, but I'm always willing to learn. If there's something I'm able to help with, I can do that too.

I'll be there as long as I don't have any prior commitments.
