exhaust advice - May 8, 2009, 10:36 PM

Hey guys,

I want to buy a exhaust for my bike but I honestly dont know what to get. I want a full but dont know if itll be worth the money. Would a slip on suffice? Im going to be tracking my bike pretty soon and i want something that will help me performance wise and not just for the look. What do you guys have out there? any track ready f4is? thanks

Usally Two brothers is always a good choice for the honda's. You get performance and weight reduction on the plus side!

Unless you're already capable of doing sub 1:20 times at Summit Point. It will ultimately make no difference in how fast you get around the track. If you want some noise, any slip-on will do, just choose the one that matches the look and price you want.

I still have the stock exhaust on my CBR race bike. I've done 1:17.9 and there's a good chance of :16s or better this year.

I was going to ask if you have tried www.cbrforum.com but i see that you asked there too

If you don't want to spend lots of money and want something different then make your stocker into a shorty I'll look sweet and sound mean too

I have the Akra and love it.. Looks sexy, not super loud cruising but sounds great when it needs to. A little $$$ but if you can find one used they shouldn't be bad. I'd just stick with the s/o.
