Gearing Chart - January 27, 2008, 07:36 PM

Here is a really cool gearing chart that someone posted on another forum. It's really neat to watch how the numbers change when you start playing with sprocket sizes.

Have fun with it.

neat...matches the spreadsheet I built exactly, great find!

Oh, but mine also calculates acceleration times between speeds given a dyno curve, estimates wheelie limit acceleration, and a few other tricks

awesome.

Current theoretical top speed of my TL1000 as geared in 6th... 136mph!
My R1 would do that cruising in second gear!

I believe that i can exceed any wheelie traction limit that your computer can calculate. When i put my slow fat a$$ into it I can loop anything.

Does it also figure how much traction you have going over a hill at 45 degs and 150 mph? Geesss you really need to just go out and ride.
