Question How much for tires? - March 27, 2006, 02:09 PM

I am buying used 1996 Yamaha FZR600, and I know I am going to need new tires for the inspection! Can you let me know how much are they.....front and rear together installed at the dealer?

That depends totally upon what tires you buy and which shop you buy them from. Call the shop where you intend to buy and ask them.

That 18" rear wheel really limits your tire choices. I suggest getting the Pirelli Sport Demon. Figure $250-300 installed.

And now you will end up paying $40 per tire to mount them. (If you bring them into the shop off the bike already.)
