Talking Transporting set of new tires... on the bike - June 11, 2008, 09:29 AM

Seriously. Took the bike and a new set up north about 20 highway minutes from where I live. I've carried all kinds of stuff on the bike, fork tubes, a front stand, now tires. Mission accomplished!

Photos fromt the haul:

Check out the shadow:

Yep, had an orange shirt on too:

Think I'll use this one as my new avatar for a while:

Rather than ride, Tom spent the evening helping out with the tires:

I'd like to say thanks once again to RRonin and RRSheDevil for allowing me to do the work at their place. Thanks Tony and Tom for the help!

Why didn't you just ship the tires here?

Every time we hold our tongues instead of returning the sharp retort, show patience with another's faults, show a little more love and kindness, we are helping to stock-pile more of these peace-bringing qualities in the world instead of armaments for war. -- Constance Foster

Some shops dont want things to be shipped at their place directly .. either carry them to the shop or buy it from them ..

I am usually inside the tires when I am riding, never thought about doing it that way.

From a book I purchased in Vietnam "Bikes of Burden." It's amazing the things they transport on scooters. link

Nice one, John! I used to combine two of my passions--golf and motorcycling. I would carry my golf clubs in the golfbag, slung over my shoulders and drive to the golf course (rain cover on, of course, so I would not lose any clubs)!! Eduardo Suave would appreciate that!

By the way, I just bought a new set of 2CTs and was considering the Contis. So, I want a full report on the Contis!

Well, now that you mention it... But I hate to be that presumptuous. Next time I will. Do you mind if I leave the old set until I come back in the cage to pick them up?

More photos coming.

Wait, I know:

Photos taken by Tom and I added in top post. Good times. Aeros weren't the best though.
