Exclamation Summit Sheandoah 5/27 track vids. - May 28, 2012, 07:38 AM

I didn't chop this one down yet - so jump ahead about 45 seconds. I was late with the call so went out a little late. (damn near impossible to hear the loud speaker).

Here's a couple videos from my track day yesterday.

it was AWESOME.

This was my first track day and first real day on this bike.

I road in the B Group obviously. Totally hooked.

Nice! Looks like you were doing great.

In the 2nd vid when you dipped into a right turn I was like "Damn! look at that lean angle!" Then I noticed the camera was a bit cocked on the straight. LOL

Regardless - looks like you were getting it done out there. Nice work.

hahah yeah - I noticed that too. I thought I had it leveled out but apparently not. its the only vid I had with that front of the bike shot too

and Thanks! - I felt pretty great out there by the end of the day. After that video with the coach he had a lot of good things to say so I was happy.

I gotta work on getting my Upper body more off the bike. I get my leg and ass off the seat, but I keep my upper torso a little too near the bike.

Hopefully those eyes are as good at spotting women as they are at spotting men.

Looks good man. I wish I would of known you were there. I was parked right on the other side of you, had the subaru with the trailer. Was riding the red and black daytona 675R, did two sessions in the B group with my friend and then went up to I for the rest of the day.

Were you there today? If not, how was the turn out yesterday?

I went today and had a good time. Not many people there today. I have to give props to Roger on the improvement with the guidance to the B group. They were more thorough and helpful compared to my first track day back on the 29th. I'm glad that they had a classroom session after the first session and provided more guidance to the beginner track riders.

66 east I think it was - but yeah. You have a DCSportsbike sticker on the back of your truck? I noticed it too.

Naw, just Sunday. I got some great time and feedback from the coach after that one run where i'm following him (first video). But other than that I didn't get any feedback.

They told us to come back in after the first session to go over some things, but only a few people showed up and only the photography / rider dude was in there. But it was still good, he had a lot of quality info to share etc.

It was a pretty good turn out. a decent number of people in each group from what I could tell. Cleared out pretty well by the end of the day as people fell off.

I'd do a Roger Lyle event again for sure.

Yeah she wrecked at the bottom of the corkscrew, we were able to get her back out on the track. She was pitted with me and is looking to turn the bike full track bike now. Came out with a broken little finger and and a bruised ego.
