Making a crooked pipe straight on a 600RR? - February 26, 2009, 02:14 PM

I'm sick of my pipe being crooked, it looks like ass. Anyone ever fixed this before or knows how to approach it? Any tips would be helpful. Thanks.

What is actually bent? Mount? Subframe? Pipe itself?

It's a Nikko pipe and I dont have a clue whats bent. It's been like this since I bought the bike last year. Just getting ready to try and remedy the problem before spring gets here.

If I'm understanding you correctly, the pipe isn't dead centered at the end?
I had that issue before too when the previous owner hadn't installed it properly. I just removed everything from the midpipe up and center it all before I re-tightened all the nuts.
