Tinted windscreen - September 9, 2007, 08:03 PM

Has anyone had any luck with a Do-It-Yourself windscreen tint? Or does anyone know of an automotive tinting place that would tint a small plastic motorcycle windscreen? Thanks for any info.

theres one. your better off finding a local place thats got a end of season sale, thats where I got my dark one. The self tinting doesnt like high speed wind... take my word for it

PM me if your in H'Town, MD.

I was thinking about taking off the stock windscreen and spraypainting the inside black....I am not shure how it would look though?

Other than painting your current one buy a new tinted one is going to be the cheapest way to go

I tried tinting my own windscreen with window tint, but the curvature of the screen made it too damn hard. I ended up simply spray painting the inside surface of it black, I think it looks good. it's not like I ever actually look through the windscreen, especially since i cut it down a few inches. Pics of my bike with the painted screen can be seen in my profile's gallery.
