Tire Plugger - June 10, 2007, 03:21 PM

A passer-by with one of these kits helped save my bacon this morning.. Tire sealer alone got me off the mountain, but this thing got me home.

Rear tire? Is the puncture in the tread? If so ride it.

No reason to trash a tire because of a simple puncture.

It's almost dead center in the contact surface of the tire.. the plug sealed it up pretty good.. but with a trip to Deal's Gap in Aug.. no way I'm going to risk it down there.

RonAyers.com has really good tire prices ususally.

Wes, I put my axle back together saturday night and was ready to ride for sunday - but that winchester ride was just too early. Ended up riding later in the day.
