All-Sport 12/16 Report - December 16, 2007, 08:23 PM

Well, the weather was supposed to be bad today but we lucked out and ended up getting only rain so we had a really good turn out.

The track was very slick so the groups were not running near their usual pace.

I had a lot of fun today although I was a bit frustrated because the tire I bought for the front was utter crap. It was worse than the stock knobbies that came with the bike. So, I'm making a few calls tomorrow to see if I can find something better. I have a lead on a set of Sava rains so we'll see. The good news is that the rear tire worked extremely well.
It was fun today, packed groups but overall I can't complain...honestly I was a bit frustrated because of how badly the front was pushing but I managed to make quite a few saves...even got to rub elbows quite a bit as some of you saw

I'd like to thank LadyK Nubbs, Tony (racerx), nate1213, dodge, and the usual suspects at All-sport for all the fun. Great hanging out and I hope you guys can come out on the 30th because I'll have my rains and as Tony can vouche...I'll run MUCH better. Today I didn't even match the times I ran last time out and I was pushing much harder so although it was frustrating it was still fun. BTW...somehow a spoke came loose so now I need to fix that too Thank goodness the rear tire worked so well because it was a bitch to put on

Anyhow, sorry to let you all down...as you all saw I was pushing to the limit and many times well past it...yes my damn leg still hurts from riding motocross style...but that worked out well for the way I had to ride today.

Dodge...hope you can make it out on the 30th and I'll keep you posted when the email goes out.

We have some video so if it's worthy I'll post it up so we'll see!

Again...thanks for coming out to support and hang out...had a blast at the wing factory

FKUC!!! It took 3 of us on supermotojunkies but damn it we did it! Found some good tires. While I was at it I ordered a 12-inch rim for the rear as well

two weeks until the next event at All-Sport can't freakin' wait now

Anyone looking for tires shoot me a PM and I'll get you the details on where I found mine. For those of you who don't know what the F I'm talking about there's a shortage of supermoto tires for the minis. I've called 12 shops and not a single shop had tires. So...I tried to run a scooter tire and that didn't work well at all. I found a place on the web that sells rims + tires and any part you could think of and they have them in stock too.

that is all
