These are pictures from the trip last week. Most are screenshots taken from the gopro video.

This ledge is less than a mile into our single track trail. It had rained the night before. The path was very slippery. We were slipping and sliding all over. The trail leading to the ledge is uphill. Not a horrible incline, but enough to make serious acceleration difficult.

This is he ledge closer up. You can note my speed (13mph) that I hit that nearly vertical rock face with. I made it first try. And yes, I will post video soon enough.

It was horrible. Just horrible I tell ya.

OK. I lied. Great riding, not all rocks, tons of really good single track trails. Try hitting 3rd and 4th gear on 10 inch wide sinuous single track trails. Yeah, be jelly. it's worth it.

The next guy tried to follow me up the ledge. This is how you break your engine cover.

And sometimes it's just kinda stupid fun to blaze the trail when you run into obstacles like this:

Some mediocre video of a short 1 minute section of trail. Nice & wide trail, decent pace across the rocks/elevation changes.

I need to figure out why YouTube is de-rezzing the video from full HD to 360. It's actually pretty decent in HD. Really!!!

Yeah, it's not coming across with good quality IMO. I need to research this again. Seems like every time I switch to a new camera I have to re-figure out the settings that YouTube likes and doesn't screw up when importing. It's too blocky now and you miss a ton of the rocks on the trail.

Nice. I need to convince the wife to let me add another bike to the garage so I can start dirt riding again...so little space. Did you trailer out there?

A buddy of mine does the driving. Essentially he gets a free vacation. We pay for the gas, lodging, and food for him. He does the logistics, planning, and drives to where we are riding. We just fly in, caravan to the rental house, and ride for about 10 days. This was Idaho.

Soon I will be repeating this in Breckenridge Colorado. I know, it's a tough life.

Ah... so this was just a prelude to CO? I was wondering if he got enough heads to make two trips this year.

My life sucks.
