Doing some dirt riding 11/23, 24 or 25 - November 12, 2015, 01:05 PM

I'm off the whole week of Thanksgiving so I'd like to at least get out one weekday early in the week. Looking at taskers, the cove, or ??? Anyone interested/available?

That's how you can tell you're still young. Old guys expect it to take months.

I should have my bike back together, so I am down for the Cove.

Yeah I am old enough to know better. Thing is, I just don't care.

Sounds like I'm going to have to call the cove and make sure hunting season isn't an issue.

Word! It ain't the getting hurt, it's the dealing with the long ass recovery time which sucks.

There's bold riders and old riders, but damn few bold old riders.

I can do the 23rd for sure even if the other guys can't.

I'm betting you're slower at it than me. Just being late 40s I recognize that things changed a bunch from my early 40s, which was a big change from late 30s, etc. That said, I want to keep at this and be like my role model Sam, showing it to the young guys when I'm in my 70s.

That would make sense if Hunting is a concern since there is no Hunting in VA on Sundays.

Just got off the phone with the dude at the cove and the trails are, in fact, open every day even in hunting season. They've only got 20 guys in their hunt club and he says they haven't had conflicts with the 2 groups. That said, sundays may be the wisest day or be sure to wear your brightest gear...
