Fall 2014 Hatfield McCoy Trip - June 4, 2014, 08:55 PM

October 25-29 I wanted to make the trip to a ride the Hatfield McCoy trails. I'd like to stay in Man and ride a couple days there. At least one day it'd be cool to trailer over to Buffalo Mountain. Anyone else interested in 4-5 days of intense singletrack heaven?

Interested. But have to finish off VCHSS season first, plus two adventure rides this summer. (Bear Lake, Idaho & Breckenridge, CO) Not to mention dealing with a minor shoulder issue.

But keep posting, as we get closer I'll see how many kitchen pass points I have stored up.

Final VCHSS race the following Sunday. I'm very interested, but a few of us have made a big commitment to VCHSS racing this season and I'm sure we'll want to be able to finish that out in good shape.

I think you have at least two points left

I'm guessing eventual shoulder surgery might tap those points.

I can't argue with the logic behind finishing out your racing season in good shape. If anyone is interested please let me know. I missed the spring trip and can NOT go a whole season without my West Virginia singletrack. I love that place.

No. If you have a permit you are fine to ride on the roads down there as long as it is day light (and some areas like the highways you aren't supposed to ride apparently haha)

All hands on deck! The depot can accomodate on the 26-29 but booked solid on the 25th! I have messages in @ Blue goose, HM resort, and the cabins. Livingood and miller cabins are out! Get off your ass and find us a place to stay on the night of the 25th for 8-9 heads!

Need to know who is in by tonight. Kathy McCoy can accommodate 8 on the 25th.

Definite attendees so far:

Joe
Duane +1
Ande
Myself
Zane
Ricky McCloud is in. Possibly plus 1.

If I dont hear from you by 9 pm tonight, ill assume you can handle youre own accomodations

Rates are as follows:
42 bucks a person for the first night @ kathys
36 a night each person for 3 nights @ the depot.
Tax is included. Thats 150 per person for accomodations.

Full payment at booking is due for kathys.
50% deposit is due @ the depot.

Therefore, I need 95 bucks feom each person attending in the next few days.

Message me for paypal info

Max head count achieved. Zane plus 1 definitely attending. No more openings. Youre on your own unless youve been mentioned. Again, confirmed attendants are:

Zane plus one
Ricky plus one
Duane plus one
Joe
Ande
Myself

Let me elaborate on the payment. Once everyone has given me their 95 dollar deposit, they will only have to pay 52 buck once we get down there. The grand total per person is 147 dollars per person. Including tax.
