Get your tard or pit bike dirty - February 22, 2008, 10:12 AM

For those of you who want to get some MX in, Breezewood Proving Grounds opens March 1st.

They have a Pit bike Night Race on Labor Day Weekend as well...

check it at : http://www.breezewoodprovinggrounds.com

Passing along a message from the owner Dan:

Hope the winter has been treating you well and your ready for the spring riding season. The Proving Grounds will Open up for riding Not this Saturday but the following Satruday March 1st. I have a couple cool changes and improvements to the tracks you'll want to check out.

The dining hall WILL NOT be open until the "Spring Fling" weekend March 28th, so remember to bring food and drinks with you until then.

The park will be open 5 days a week from 8am until 8pm - closed only on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I'm happy to say that riding fee's will remain the same this year as they were in 2007. Cabin rentals are also still the great deal they were last year. Three days and two nights in the cabin including your riding pass is only $120 per person. The cabins are already booked up through the spring fling weekend March 28th. Email me to reserve your weekend after that time.

Yearly Memberships are available for $400 for a single membership, family discounts available. MEMBERS PAY NO RIDING FEE'S !!

Don't forget this Memorial Day Weekend we will light up the big track for Night Time Racing ! This is the only race at the Proving Grounds this year - so make sure your here to show your stuff. The race is not sanctioned, so there are no memberships or district cards to purchase, just pay to race! There will be classes for everyone from beginner to expert. Make sure you mark Saturday May 24th on your calandar now. That Sunday we are having a free cook out for everyone. What a great weekend to camp at the park!!

Don't forget our most memorable event: the 4th of July "quad pulled couch race" ! Now is the time to start thinking about your couch and how you'll modify it for the race. REMEMBER: the winning team receives a free membership to the park. The only rule for modifying the couch is you can't have wheels on it. So start looking for those old couch's and get 'em ready for July 4th at the Proving Grounds.

Attached is an updated list of our 2008 special events. Have a Great Year !!!!

I hope to ride with everyone at the track in the very near future. Check out our website for track conditions. www.breezewoodprovinggrounds.com
