I'm curious what would make it easier. Anyone know of any highly technical hare scrambles? I would actually prefer not easier (to me easy means really fast, which is not my thing). Sounds like the hangover turned out to me more technical this time around (due to the mud) and I almost regret not doing it...

New Jersey or PA hare scrambles are generally technical.

Are the NJ ones in the pine barrons? I'm assuming the PA ones are in rocks.

I would be most likely in but their lack of info on both sites is frustrating. Can't find anything on rules and regulations as it pertains to bike inspection, my new bike has no spark arrestor and the db's are im sure loud. Also I see nothing on class breakdown either. I checked both the flyer, Serma club, and SE&TRA to no avail.

Any race you show for that is in the woods you should have a spark arrestor. AS for DB's unless it is a non packed can I would not worry about it. Thomas's bike is outrageously loud but he has not ran into any problems. Yea not a lot of info and you can't sign up online. Kinda low budget low key setup.

Central PA races will have rocks and mountains. Eastern PA ones are sandy and in the pine barrens. (unless NJ eco-freaks have stopped them.)

Nevermind apparently I do have a spark arrestor built into this DRD Exhaust. If I can find someone to split costs with I should be in.

The question is, will he be blinded by the headlights if he does?
