Harleywood Ironman - July 26th and 27th - June 20, 2014, 11:03 AM

Anyone doing the Ironman? I'm thinking about doing it as a final shakedown for TKO.

This race handed me my ass back in 2012 when I decided I'd try it after not really riding for 6 months on a bike that hadn't been set up at all. Need a little payback.

My wife's due date is that weekend, so I can't make it. Harleywood offered the widest spectrum of terrain I have seen yet in any VCHSS race. You should really enjoy it. Keener says watch out for the off camber tree roots.

I would only do the team race. It is just 10 laps but it can wear me out after 1 if I rode like I did last time there. Fun course you will like it. nothing real bad. If someone wants to do the team with me post up.

Don't you have one already? You've seen one, you've seen them all.

I'm in for the tag team. Let me see how my schedule is firming up though.

lol. The season started all "yeah, follow your dreams", now it's all "I can't believe how many weekends you spend away from the family". I told her she is welcome to come to the races and the youngest one can start earning points at 3 =)

I will know for certain later in the week. Depends on how I feel after being on the road for two weeks. If I go, I'm running Ironman.

Adam is in as well though he's teamed up with someone else. I'll let him drop the news on that.
