Hatfield McCoy Fall 2015 Trip - April 23, 2015, 06:46 PM

I've booked the RiverSide Treehouse Cabin (around Gilbert) October 24-28. Who's interested in another awesome trip?

If everyone goes that says they are, that means 9 of 12 beds are full already. (There are two couches that I didn't figure would be the best but could work for last minute commitments.) If a bunch more guys speak up soon, there are a few other places at this little community that we could reserve but this is a great start!

Sorry Dawg. How many of your "kitchen passes" would it take to get you out of the Dawg house for this trip?

Joe and Dodge, are you still in? If you are, we're still filling 9 of 12 beds. Anyone else interested?

It depends. Been getting my ass kicked at work for a while now. So I might be able to get one. Really depends on the fall schedule for my daughter. She's going to be 12. Not many more chances to enjoy October festivities while she wants me around. I figure 1-2 more years and I will be the embarrassing parent for a decade or so. Then my time should free up.

Plus a buddy wants me to go to Georgia and try riding down there.

4 of the 9 guys are 4X4 ATVers, myself, 2 decent bikers from Ohio, Joe, and Dodge. I want to do extreme singletrack like Rockhouse 199 backwards and all Buffalo Mountain's singletrack. We should have 2-3 solid groups between mine, the quads will ride at a good clip, and maybe a mild bike group so all are welcome [especally those that will help pull me up the extreme stuff!]

Ande and I are in. Zane and John from the spring trip will be joining but can't decide whether to commit to the last bed and a couch our bring their new RV.

Isn't that what your engine is supposed to do?

I checked today and there is not extra parking where we're stayin for a camper or RV. The only vehicles allowed are for those staying in the cabins, if that makes anyone's decisions easier. You could stay someplace downtown I guess, if you didn't want to stay in the cabin.
If everyone goes that has said so we'll be totally maxed out with every bed and couch full. That accounts for myself, four 4X4 atv guys from Buffalo, two Ohio bikers, joe, dodge, Foley, Ande, dirt jumper, Zane, and John. If Zane or anyone else wants, I'd reccomend booking the riverside flat from thecanebrakecabins.com to add a few more beds.
