That is sick! But can you imagine the potential disaster that could've happened if he hadn't cleared both wheels all the way.

What size is it? I'm looking for a 600, 750, and a 1000.

If he hadn't cleared both wheels two things could've happened. He landed both wheels on the flat part above and would've bounced right into another aerial for the way down, likely with much less control. If he would've landed one wheel on the top flat area and the other on the downward side then he would've automatically been launched forward. It's not a rounded top part people, it's up...flat...down. If you watch any of the mishaps in stunt jumping you'll see what I'm talking about. The same would happen on a bicycle, except it is much slower, lighter, and maneuverable.

But I still agree that it was f'ing sweet and I'd probably give that a try too. Common sense is overrated!

Proper sumo (even a DRZ) suspension negates both of your scenarios. See pictures of Dodge and Paul bottoming out on ramps

Suzuki hasn't offered that technology on the DRZ yet, unfortunately, so you'll have to go with needing more horsepower in your shit or something.

Try a Duc Hypermotard I hear the big one is sick for that off road shit, and doing bad ass jumps.... after all it is a motard. I'd start with like a 6000 five stroke.
