Looks like a good track that is about 3 hours from NoVA if any newcomers want to try their luck.

Fair warning:
The chiggers are BAD down that way. Be sure to use a good amount of bug spray and you might even want to give your floor mats a spritz to keep them from hitching a ride home.

Usually the truck has enough BO in it post race to kill off all but the most resilient insects, lol. Thanks for the warning though.

LOL

Yeah, Donovan sometimes just couldn't understand why we made such a big deal about him leaving his sweaty gear in the back of the Excursion for a few days.

We started that way for the past round thanks to Joe "The Skunk" Haefner just coming from day 2 of his Dirtwise class.

I had a stupid tip over/slide out and somehow managed to rip off a lower radiator hose on lap 1. Looks to have cost me about 23 minutes fussing with it.

Zero wrecks for Fat Bastard. Not last overall. Not sure where I placed in my category. But I don't think I was last. I figured just finishing one lap with the injured shoulder was as good as winning Finishing the whole race on the lead lap....yeah, I'll take that.

Joe - Did you get any video? I was lucky enough to pull my second holeshot of the season. Started getting arm pump on lap one and had to let folks by. Felt awesome on the second and third laps, but I had 2 big offs into trees that cost me a lot of time. I actually got to dice it up with a few guys in my class for a lap and a half or so, swapping spots 3 or 4 times. That was a lot of fun. I just wish I would have placed better, the trophies had a Kawasaki on them this time.... oh well...

I also got to ride a CR 500 this weekend. I can see why people love and fear 500 2 strokes. I would not want to whisky throttle one of those.

I took video like always. I'll get around to reviewing it tonight.
