Nice. Which reminds me I need to work on the electrics of my 09 and get my LED headlights running.

Is this the definition of first world problems?

I've been tracking the LED headlight 'kits' for awhile now, quality is a bit hit-or-miss but light output is just shy of your typical 35w HID system.

The issue I would expect on motorcycles (specifically thumpers and twins) is the vibration, most of those kits merely glue the LED to the aluminum base.

I am still interested in hearing how they work out for you!

Interested in results also. (can't view thread on ktmtalk without joining)

I'm using a Rigid light on my 2 stroke but I am curious as to how much usable light this bulb would produce.

I took apart a ADV Monster LED kit, the controller / driver chip was mounted on a generous putty pad and the LEDs themselves were mounted in a lens, seemed pretty sturdy. But it's strictly offload... Wonder if it could be transferred to a cheap projector lens?
