How'd it feel after 2 days of exercises? I'm still sore myself and I didn't do anything yesterday...

The first lap was horrible. Nothing was going right. I ended up parking the bike for about 15 mins to calm down/cool off. I had told myself I was just going to pull off after I went through timing. But for some reason I went through and stayed on track. Then things started to click and I wasn't running into everything and I was using WAY less energy.

Once I was a bit more in control, the stuff from the class was obvious. The most noticeable being the log grind. I couldn't get the hang of it during the class, but out on the trails doing it in the actual ruts worked fine.

Cool, I'm going to try to do more practice the next few times I get out. I've got some soccer markers to use to set up the exercises.

I see the teenage kid from class is pretty quick.

Part of the first lap I found on the web:

Aside from all the pain most of the folks in the truck endured, I personally thought this was the most diverse/exciting track so far. I just wish I finished a little better... if it was easy it might not be as much fun though (or at least that is what I'm telling myself, lol).

You should do the Ironman if you were not planning on it already. The property is great, but a fairly long drive.

Points are updated:

VCHSS Main Standings Frame -- click on class on left side of window (you may have to scroll down) to display points. If the points do not appear to be updated, you will need to refresh (try F5 or Ctrl-F5).

There are two tabs at the bottom of each results page -- one for Best and the other for Total.

The Best tab is sorted on the Best column:
- drops 3 lowest scores (this happens after completion of more than three races)
- reflects ties in the 'Place' column
- no secondary sort when there is a tie -- order within a tied group is random and does not reflect tie breaker rules

The Total is tab is sorted on the Total column:
- reflects ties in the 'Place' column
- no secondary sort when there is a tie -- order within a tied group is random and does not reflect tie breaker rules

So do the use the best or the total for the year? I'm guessing the best to allow for people to skip really far races.

Best is what matters at the end of the year, but total points are what we should be keeping an eye on now.

Well....I have nowhere to go but up after the last race. Though this weekend it will likely be more of a simple light jaunt around the course and not a "real" race for me. I'm nowhere near 100% yet. Hell, maybe 25% if I'm lucky.

Yay.
