Hum, I think the closest schools are held in Delaware and Englishtown, NJ.

Check out supermotojunkies.com for schools.

I know...I've seen you on there. There's nothing in Virginia...you'll have to travel to Delaware or NJ. I spoke to "Barry" from SMJ on Saturday and he said they are trying to put something together locally. Check out the North East racing forum for details...if you're serious you should post up ASAP to see if you can get in on it.

The one they do in Harrington, DE is the american supercamp (http://www.americansupercamp.com). I plan on doing that one either this fall or next spring... have heard lots of good things about it.

American Supercamp is supposed to be the shiznits..... However, to do the SM class - you have to take their intro class 1st if memory serves... That's what Barry has taken - he's also on Cycleforums... He and I compete against each others KTM's at Summit ... It's why my KTM LC4 is getting the fcr41 - he can pull about a bike length when we both get on it coming out of the turn, but can't pull away on his SMR - his bike's power comes on early.. etc...

Anyway - he had great thing to say bout the intro... They teach allot SM practices that gets refined in the 2nd class.... I have heard ALL kinds of good stuff about the SM class and wanted to take it this year - but with a new job I have limited vacation....

AC all the way..

Nate -

Would someone like to plan a group trip to American Supercamp in the spring? I've been wanting to go for years and have never gotten around to it. This seems like as good a time as any!

Just an idea.

Right up the 1 hole.

They speak and I appear. I'm kinda like Voldemort on that one. hehehe

I've taken it 1.5 times. Last time was in April...the first week of my current job. So I had to miss the first day. Luckily I had already taken it so I was able to catch up quickly. (And mroe importantly...pass my buddy)

I'm thinking of taking it again this fall for grins. If it doesn't comflict with some of my other activities.

Hey Devious...got the dirtbike ready yet? I should be starting to dirtride next month when it turns a bit cooler. My bike is ready. School is in!!!

Keener - Would a group trip to the class be fun? I hear it's a pretty competetive atmosphere, which would simply kick ass.

Right up the 1 hole.

I would like to catch up to you once the race season is over. Right now I have scorpion syncs on the DRZ which actually do "ok" in the dirt. If the dirt is not too rough or deep it will be fine otherwise, I'll have to wait until I pick up my 125 for the flat-track races this winter which will have knobbies and I'll pick up an extra set of tires for the indoor stuff.

Woody - yes. It's a ton of fun. Go for the split racer/non class. Racer class is probably a bit more serious. Some of those guys are bloody fast going sideways!

Chris - what kind of 125? Like a TTR125? Or a motorcrosser? Throw some knobbies on the DRZ. For this area a softer suspension is generally better anyway.
