Cool Supermoto ride this Saturday? - March 23, 2009, 05:05 PM

Anybody want to bring out their motards and shake loose some of the cobwebs this weekend? No idea on a route, but I'm sure it will (unfortunately) involve a few straights to get us out to the sticks where we can get curvy. Pace will be determined, but I'm aiming for slower than ludicrous speed. My 'tard is new to me, stock, and can't (well doesn't like to)go over 80. It also needs gas every 100 miles, another reason I don't want to bore the other riders going on some of the other rides this weekend. Feel free to post up here and we'll see what kind of interest it gets. Last call for the ride will be done on Friday early in the afternoon, as well as cancellations if needed. So stay tuned!

Prefer to keep it to motard riders. No disrespect intended. That means since it's a motard ride and I don't want to make it seem like some people get excluded and some others don't, don't show up unless you will be riding a tard with us.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe, but that would mean having to swap wheels before I got a chance to do some off-roading.

Y'all need to take a nice ride down south to Colonial Beach and watch the first weekend of SM racing at the track. Or better yet, tape up your lights and join us on the track. Only costs $20 to get on the track or $10 to watch. Just look one post down in the Grassroots Racing thread for info. Oh yeah, stop at Willies BBQ for lunch while you're in the area.

Dammit!!! Now I've definitely got to make a decision on something. A couple of 250's leaving black marks all over 33...could be fun!
